it has been brought to my attention that a certain person is stating to the public that julie has hand picked her opponents to obtain her world no1 ranking position and 13titles!! everyone is entitled to their opinion-but i ask-how did she manage to take 19 of her fights at under 2 weeks notice and came back to fight 4out of the 5 fighters that originally beat her when she first started if her so called hand picked opponents were already on the show and asked for her? the most interesting thing about this statement is the thaiboxing instructor who is saying it lives in cornwall,is julies weight and with a cornwall show coming up in july??mabe its time she did pick an opponent??

sean bowman captured the ISKA british title in a 3rd round ko of a very tough keith morris. zoe went to war and won a very close points decision against a skilled anna otterwell. kevin croxton won a very brave unanimous decision against local neil knight. and gemma mitchell squashed her demons in a very high octane rematch bout against sandra dodson. well done.
julie successfully defended her world title against a very dangerous karen lynch,isaac remains undefeated in 7 fights and picked up the fist junior british title,lee toms out clinched his opponent to pick up the southwest area title @ 67kg and zoe mason provided a relentless fitness display to win the southern area title.tommy hall won fighter of the night beating a european opponent 6kg heavier.a demo of the highest standard i have ever seen was provided by mike nudd and sean bowman. this was our 3rd show and was already above the standard i had originally set for my 10th.
julie has added another 2 wins to her record taking a unanimous decision over italian sonja mirabelli and a 2nd round ko of spains itziar onaindi abade,the fights were both headline bouts with julie sharing the top of the bill with 2 of sasiprapa gyms world champion thais in liverpool,the second headlining an electric line up of britains best female fighters in manchester.
at plymouth sun 13th may,mike nudd became the wka southern area full contact champion and touchglove,s 7th title holder after a 5th rnd ko of rocky rob hingston who was just relentless in giving mike a war.
also zoe mason beat a very tough instructor from prya pichai camp in reddich who looked as though she was very talented throwing nice body kicks and straight knees in the clinch,zoe continued to come forward with some nice boxing and superb fitness to take a unanimous decision,i am very proud of you both as you were both up against it,yet came through.
after beating the very talented world champion barry lock,sean has been ranked @no1 in the 55kg categorie.not bad for someone who was slated for a last minute boxing match dominated by sean against a tough,heavier and experienced boxer.mabe the group who mocked the fight on their webpage cant spot talent when they see it?

Julie seized the chance & crammed in some training whilst flights were being arranged & gave away 3kg in weight ,yet still fought her way to a unanimous points victory also winning over the home crowd, the fight can be viewed on you tube.com.julie runs private sessions daily in penzance.
Back in England at a prestigious full contact kickboxing (kicks above waist only)show in western super mare on Saturday to be shown on the TWC sky channel next month. Newlyns mike nudd celebrated his second knockout stoppage proving too strong for his opponent in the second round with a strong display of punching combinations.
Sean bowman took on the ranked no1 world ,European and british champion barry lock . sean came into the competition as a complete underdog following reviews on the internet forums not classing him in the league of the world champion, but sean who has only been kickboxing for 8mnths dominated the 7 rounds with an immaculate kicking display out pointing the champion to a unanimous victory in a shock defeat silencing the critics & the crowd yet again.
Cornwall’s team touch gloves Thai boxers celebrated triple glory on Sunday with a fantastic display of Thai boxing from fighters. Issac Ashley, ryan tamblin & Julie kitchen.
First on the bill for the club was 10 year old Isaac ‘magic ike’ Ashley who remains undefeated after capturing his 3rd title this time at a higher weight category against Torquay’s home favourite steven ‘super’ cooper the 5 round fight ended in a draw, but both fighters agreed to a 6th round with Ashley emerging victorious.
Ryan tamblin also captured an area title under k1 style ruling in a rematch with Exeter’s dean tratt, dean having won last years clash was previously confident, was surprised by ryans improvement who landed strong low kicks & boxing combinations winning 4 out of 5 rounds in a very hard fight contest.
It was mixed emotions at this stage for the 170 strong touch gloves supporters who travelled up for the day as the main event was still to come.
Julie kitchen had been told at the weigh in that she had no chance of lasting out the first round against her pro boxing opponent lola ‘sugar’ Munoz-Garcia who had knocked out previous opponents with strong right hand counters, the fight was held under k1 style oriental rules & sanctioned by the very prestigious w.I.k.b.a.organisation.
From the first bell saw a tentative start from Julie who was caught with lolas trademark punch in the first 30 seconds, but shrugged it off landing a strong boxing & a knee to the head before the end of the first round, Julie making it through the prediction of the Spanish team then grew in confidence from the second round & a crowd roaring pattern emerged from the Cornish warrior.
Julie out gunned her opponent in every technique landing superbly timed head kicks throughout & even managed to out box the more experienced lola beating her at her own game, then moving forward with a devastating jumping knee in the 5th round flooring the very durable spanish fighter who has already lasted the distance with the iron lady germaine de randarmie.the unanimous decision went to julie kitchen cornwalls first world champion thaiboxer.
